I just watched “The Football Factory” last night.  That’s about as close to following soccer as I get.

I was not expecting much from the brazilian team today, so I did not bother watching that game, I heard the Croatian team played well even though they did not win.

@ollie:

I’m no fanatic. I just watch the cup when it happens. It’s every 4 years so the anticipation builds to this. Normally I don’t watch sports at all!

@mazokizt:

yep, brazil seemed weak in the field. Craotia’s players are fast and strong!
I don’t think it’s an indication of how brazil will play the next games..so we will have to see.
I’m looking forward to seeing spain play today.
Actually they just scored 2 goals!!!!
Ukraine is not looking good.

yeah, but German missed many goals. If they didn’t give a red card to the polish, they could manage a 0-0, and I don’t think France, even with 11 players would get this score 8)

I was getting worried for a moment. If they didn’t win with Poland having 10 men then there was no chance for them to ever win this cup!
We will have to wait and see.

you mean with 13 players wink
Well they are not the strongest team but anything can happen.

That’s a lesson for the polish team : white people-only team can’t be good, specialy in this kind of “sports”. You shall get this black player instead of shouting “unga unga-we don’t want a black guy”

There is alot of racism in soccer but that’s a different topic altogether.
There’s also lots of corruption specially with referees!
