Like a few French bands that appeared at the dawn of the 80s, Guerre Froide immediately became part of a post-punk / cold wave movement. The group quickly imposed its repetitive and hypnotic musical atmosphere, sometimes aggressive, sometimes lancinating, on which the song comes to put words imbued with visions both existential and poetic, crossed by social critics, even political.
