Brigade International was born in spring 81 in the courtyard of the lycee of Vernon. First formed as a duo: Olivier Foubert (vocals, trombone, guitar) and Bruno Vaugelade (bass), Cécile Balladino (keyboards) would join them a year later. The release of the K7. “Regard Extreme” in 1984 marks a turning point: against all expectations, it was a success. Taking advantage of the wave of the first free radios, they quickly became known.
