Feel free to post links here that will “lighten you” up.
Stop been so fricking serious for once 8)

I’ll start with this one:

http://www.kilian-nakamura.com/blog-english/index.php/perfect-ice-for-perfect-drinks-from-taisin/

I do like my scotch. So when I saw this I got the inspiration for this thread.
This makes perfect sense…as the explanation given by this person says:

“Using a sphere of ice (as opposed to a cube) in your whiskey-rocks is nice because the round ice melts more slowly than the square stuff (better surface-area/volume ratio). “

And there you have it folks….. you know what I will be having tonight!

And here’s a second link that will tickle your fanny….

First look at the picture:

Yes…..it’s a cd been played on a turntable. I don’t know what or how it sounds but you can read about it here:

Playing a certain type of music can enhance the way wine tastes, research by psychologists suggests.

So, not being a wine lover myself, I have to ask: Has anybody tried to confirm for this themselves playing minimal and tasting wine?
When I play EBM or Industrial I tend to drink a lot more beer then when I listen to some synthpop or minimal. With Krautrock and Koschmische Musik on, I want water, juice or tea.  :D

“minimal synth” is a beer drinking genre.
