Hi to everyone on the forum, never posted here before, been too busy chasing italos, but now more interested in the realms of minimal 7"s.

Question is about this record is it rare? and what is its worth ?

Difficult to find any info about the band online, think they are from the UK ... anyone know anything.. thanks.

heres the track

There should be at least one other 7”, as I know a different track by this band (or one of the same name at least), but no idea where they come from or how rare their material is…

hey, thanks for asking again!

I have two singles by Synthetic Dream: The first is “Obsession” b/w “U+500”, and the other is the one you already know. They are both on Logical Step Music, with “Obsession” being cat.no Logic 02 and “Sulphate Suicide” being Logic 03 - you’d be forgiven to expect there to be another Synthetic Dreams single (Logic 01), wouldn’t you?

hope that helps, I’ll let you know if I find out more
best

Thanks for the information and comments, just to clarify that I am genuinely interested in italo, minimal wave and other types of music too. I like buying records when I can find them and don’t see anything wrong in trying to find out more about a record including its rarity/worth.

If I found a record I really liked I would keep it, and if I found a rare record I didn’t really care for I would sell it for the best price I could get. (sure most people would do the same.)

On other forums I am a member of, I try my best to bring insights and contribute as a member of the community, I am not here to just leech information,.

Maybe I will respond to the thread about music blogs being a platform for ego maniacs to massage their egos…..... watch this space.

hey Scott, well it’s rare indeed. But _so_ many synth singles are!

I’ve never seen it go for much more then this though:

Haha well, I’ll probably just hold on to it, even though the cover is the best thing about it imho.

Circuit 7 were from uk, so i’ll just have to hold out for a mint copy of “Video Boys” in my local store!

Your in the right country for 2nd hand shopping….no other country released so many synth records and no serious collectors to eat the cheese from your bread.
