The original 7” was a favorite of John Peel (he played it on his show many times and tracked down BB drummer Jay Rosen years later to request another copy after his was stolen) and Greg Shaw and has recently been featured on the CRUD CRUD and Detailed Twang blogs. It absolutely must be heard to be believed.
All 10 songs are Beatles covers. But they’re all very quirky minimal electronic/synthpunk songs in the vein of The Cardboards, The Normal, Units, etc. I just picked it up and it’s pretty good. You can get it from the label’s page above.
