Soviet,

I’m not making fun of Soldatenkino.

Are you making fun of me by projecting that I am making fun of him :?:

Boring rolleyes

I genuinely want to know what he is listening to now, because now that he isn’t posting I miss him.  As when I don’t post on this forum his music schedule, and the bagel you ate is what this forum consists of.

If I had to choose as to which is a less boring thread I would have to say his music schedule.  I do like bagels though   but you can keep the farty stomach knowledge to yourself.  That is just completely inappropriate, and rude mr. mature

Blago Bung 3 days in a row.

One of the best Swedish minimal synth records.

CRASH COURSE IN SCIENCE - 3LP+7” boxset on VOD
Yet another fantastic release from Vinyl On Demand, totally recommended for all fans of minimal electronics and DIY-electrowave.
If it were on CD, I would set the demo track “No more hollow doors” on endless repeat grin  It’s that great!

Pablo Gad - Who is the Terrorist? 12”

Today’s flea market find - musically, it’s a track that could more or less be found on Cabaret Voltaire’s much loved Micro-Phonies LP, and it’s only the vocals that turn the A side into reggae. Well, electronic reggae to be precise.

I never heard of the guy but it would be interesting to know if more of his work is electronic reggae. Me like.

All his other work is reggae/dub reggae.
From the 80’s on electronic dub.
But it’s the only one on the Rhythm King label and thus quite unique.

Check his entries on You Tube, then you’ll know what I mean wink

Thanks, Wool-E.

Yeah, looks like the poor guy used the wrong instruments most of the time.

But seriously, would have been cool if there had been a full-length album. Shame.

Now as this is a rather unusual song, I just had to play Stage again who present us with something even weirder:

Heavy metal italo disco with a saxophone!

But check out their Voodoo Dance yourself:

I’m currently fighting my way through all the stuff I bought but never had a proper listen to…..stop me if this sounds all too familiar to you….. 8)

Ian Anderson - Walk into Light - LP

Now the man did terrible things with flutes when he was in Jethro Tull, but if you like Jon St. James’ “Transatlantic” LP, “Fly by Night” and “User Friendly” for instance should hit home with you as well.

And, unlike with Transatlantic, the price tag will smile at you….
