Well the closest thing to an Anna release that entered my home of late was a trade of the Aupheus 7”, I’m afraid. 8)
But basically this is because I hardly bought anything at all for about 2 months.
What I bought today was
MEO 245 - Rites of Passage Mini LP 1982
from Down Under.
Being a synth fiend the guys overdosed on the guitars a bit for my taste of course, but otherwise it’s a nice album that also could have been released in the UK. “Sin City” is the kind of hit single with a keyboard passage not completely unlike Bowie’s Ashes to Ashes.
The most amazing track however is Sweethearts and Roses which made me wonder if Fields of the Nephilim had already been making music in good old 1982 - which of course wasn’t the case. Don’t know if the Fields listenend to this but if they did this song was the blueprint for an entire career…. :wink:
