love that record… my favourite by KS, together with “Mirage”!

It’s great!:) My favourites are Irrlicht and Cyborg.

“listening right now:

ESPLENDOR GEOMETRICO live in utrecht ‘89”

My CD says “live in Utrech”, which is quite accurate as the locals in Utrecht tend to not pronounce the “t” if I am correct.

Anyway listening to

Conrad Schnitzler—“Conrad & Sohn”
Earlier

Peter Baumann—“Repeat Repeat”
Michael Hoenig—“From The Northern Wasteland”
Edgar Froese—“Aqua”

smile a nigthmare for the “bobos’’ of the industrial/post-punk revival, who try to be interested by Throbbing Gristle because it’s a “fashion” to like this band now,and of course they never listen records from them.

i am stoked to see them live tomorrow night for their first nyc performance, not just because it will hopefully be transcendant, but also because i can’t wait to see a slew of brooklyn hipsters covering their ears and making a mad dash for the door when they find out what the band’s live show is truly about.

that is, if it’s still as abrasive and challenging as all past reports indicate.  here’s hoping they haven’t lost that edge…
