it was planned on Cabinett… but as all know that label died after two cd productions… It seems no other label has interest in this… Me neither… I like the music a lot but it is not really worth re-issueing in my opinion… it is not that rare and hard to find today…

YES! that’s right. I forgot about cabinett. Best thing out of there was the LSE cd.

It’s one of their top 2 releases anyway! LOL

As for Snowy Red… I think the prices for the first two LPs have gone rocketing lately - ebayers seem to pay anything for them these days. I’d like to have the two first LPs on CD, at least with appropriate bonus tracks.

Regarding that last remark by reactor: I’m a strong supporter of the principle to reissue on a different medium than the original; e.g. vinyl on CD and cassettes on vinyl. This way everybody is happy.

But I havent spotted a SR Dirty Dance release on any fleamarket still, care to tell me where you find all of them M?  (through PM please, dont need all those lurkers round here ruining my chances smile  )

There are so many rereleases out there, I guess I thought SR was a good candidate for it. Especially on CD to reach the younger market that doesn’t appreciate the vinyl format.

I agree that later releases are easier to find. It is rare to see the 1st 2 LPs anywhere.

I f I knew how to contact MM of SR, I would ask him if I could do it:)

Thank you for your responses…............

I found the first LP for 1 gulden years ago but from time to time you can find this one on record fairs… maybe not for 1 gulden but also not for 50 euros…

It would definately do better as a vinyl reissue.

Judging from the buyers of this kinda stuff (I run a record store…) the vinyl does wayyy better.
