Thanks for the tips!

WE. is a name that keeps popping up, I know I must check them out. Wermut, I got the split 7” with Rod Droid, nice but not as nice as ABC, and Human Pup and Wölt Könts I never heard about before.

So, I’ll certainly check them out!
(Maybe even spend the ABC Pic Disc Budget on their product?  :?  )

@Spartak - I’m pretty certain we’ve discussed Sil Sci before, after I bought the LP+7”+CD-R? I love that stuff, it’s beautiful!

There’s also Mr. Alien Skull Paint from my hometown, first two albums got released on Genetic and should hit home with the purists here. “Fly with me” was the hit song, if your local underground club happened to play that one.

Another cool dodgy “new” band are Die Perlen. They are more versatile though, calling their style “telektroponk”, and you will also get NDW and other influences.

I’ll post the link to their tracks in the other forum though, being a nervous German and wanting to keep up order.

About the picture disc of ABC : I was told that it will contain new live versions of the songs that were performed live at the Tinnitus and BIM-festival in 2006. smile

Well - I was not there and so I haven’t heard those versions!

So in other words… (*starts the same discussion over again*)

Anyway, in a few years, when all this minimal hype is over and done,

there is a hype now?

A little resume of yesterday :

-Well : guitar player, a nun behind the keyboards, a freaky boy behind his drums trying to find the good rythm and a youn girl asking for beer after the first song. smile  Not my cup of tea, so back to the bar. LOL
-Liquid G : forget the good old Vomito Negro alike songs of 20 years ago; boring ebm nowadays.
-ABC : good show, even better than their performance on the BIMfest.  All songs have undergone a remake.  No worries, we’re not talking about future pop or trancy songs, it is still the same sound as before but more refreshed.
And the picture disc is worth to buy it.  If it’s not for the new versions of the songs, than more for its collectable value. smile

For those who want to buy it, I believe that Tarantulla will do the distribution.  http://www.tarantullashop.be
