Boule is a classic! Love that track.

BTW Did they release a cover versions album of that song? Do you know?

I know Renaldo and the Loaf did a version, that went on their “Elbow” LP, they mention such a project… Would be fun to know more about it.

-Um, and good luck on your label and the first release of course!

smile

I don’t understand the use of a compilation. if you really like a band, especially a “rare” one, why the fuck pay for a compilation when you can buy the real LP ??

if the album is too much expensive, why don’t you (and they) re-release it instead of a ompilation ? That’s what I’m talking about Spartak !!

So, skipping the debate about whether this re-release of cassette tracks should have been a re-release of “Ignobles Limaces” instead, could I ask whether “BOULE” is a different version from that on the LP?

yes it is different…..the version is taken from the very first PPP(K001) (released as 10 copies) from 1979 so it was recorded five years before the one on the LP.

...the history about that tape is told in the insert…....
