change of line-up

URGENT PRESS ANNOUNCEMENTS
First the bad news:
LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION FROM SPETSNAZ!
Last weekend we got the sad news from Pontus Stälberg (Head & voice) of SPETSNAZ that he cannot forfill his promise to play at our festival.
We can assure that SPETSNAZ did whatever they could in trying not to let us down but destiny decided otherwise.
According to Pontus this performance would jeopardise the future of SPETSNAZ and most of all his long time friendship with the human drum machine Stefan Nilsson as also their label OUT OF LINE.
Of course we are not happy about this to say the least, but we can only accept and respect his decision not to play for those reasons.
We hope the disappointed SPETSNAZ fans also understand this sad but seemly necessary decision.
Also SPETNAZ promised to make this up to us in the near future!
In the end we think we can all agree that it‚s better to have a cancelling SPETSNAZ then a DEAD SPETSNAZ!
Now the good news:
32 CRASH feat. JL De Meyer (FRONT 242) & IMPLANT replace Spetsnaz !!!
After contacting a dozen of bands and a very stressful weekend, we finally found a suitable band that will be able to fill in the gap of Spetsnaz…
Nobody less then 32CRASH feat. JL DE Meyer, head and voice of Front 242, and IMPLANT agreed to help us out in this difficult time mostly out of respect for our festivals and our achievements.
Together they will bring us an exclusive and energetic mix of IMPLANT‚s best songs and tracks of the brand new project of FRONT 242 singer JL De Meyer with IMPLANT boys Len Lemeire & Jan D‚hooghe; 32 CRASH.
The latest collaboration between both artists that resulted in the magnificent IMPLANT single ŒThe Creature‚ (with a fantastic video, link below) will of course be on their set list too.
This project also recently surprised friend and foe with their first (try out) gig at OCJ Kompas (St-Niklaas-Belgium) on the latest and successful ALFA MATRIX festival.
You can read a review of this gig on http://damusic.be/reportage/566 <http://damusic.be/reportage/566>  (dutch) or on our website http://www.bimfest.be <http://www.bimfest.be>  under the news section for a English translation)
If all goes well (rehearsals, you know) 32 CRASH & IMPLANT will have an EXCLUSIVE SURPRISE SONG ready for YOU on our Festival!
For those who want to know what to expect we gladly direct you to the following links:

Don’t know yet; I didn’t get the tracklist.  But, in my opinion, it won’t be the “reissue” of Exit/Leaving.  Knowing VOD, it will be more something like 2 tracks that didn’t make it on the tapes at the time…

[quote author=“minicold”]And the box will be available at the festival ! :D

So, get your lazy minimal bums over here and enjoy a nice festival and go home with a collector item 8)  I spoke to Dirk Ivens a few weeks ago and he told me he’s really looking out for this gig.  So, no Snowy Red disasters.

Oh and before I forget (Or should I mention this in “trade/buy”  :D ) : I will be selling off some records there (Autumn, Portrait Bizarre, Pseudo Code, Fred A., Line Line) together with some cd’s. :D

Oh that’s interesting. Shall i prepare to attack a jewellry before?
Well, please wait until we arrive before unpacking your stand   LOL

When I finally found the record last year it
1) got released on a vinyl bootleg a few weeks after
2) got released on the 2xCD lost/found
3) the cd single is there an exit b/w I’m leaving
4) and now finally as 7”

Perhaps i will trade my copy now :-(

Spart,

You’re talking like a re-issue could replace the magic of owning the original… which is bollocks, I’m sure you agree wink

And if not, I’ll be happy to relieve you of your “Exit” 7”!

Damned, such a shame :(  This makes the “limited edition” of the box less wanted, I would say.
But okay, if the rest of the box is all right….

One of the songs from the unreleased material on the box will be “The Cover of a Magazine”, the mystery song I played a lot on my dj-sets

Nice to meet you too smile
And looks like the Line Line 7” is very great!  8)

We were just here for ABC, brillant show but very short, a big shame :(
Karl Bartos was excellent, a fantastic-long show, professionally made with that excellent kraftwerky videoprojection. I will not forget it so fast!

I was happy to meet Dirk Ivens, Darrin Huss & friends, Spartak, Jana & Mike, Dr Kernkrach, Plastikmann & friends, Nicole, Jeffrey & Florence, and of course Lieven, Cerrone and their friend from Sint Niklaas.
The pictures of the show are ready here, i think i will upload them sooner or later into the Radio Stranger site, i will keep you informed!
