there are some free mp3s online from a great brazilian electro artist, PS Project.  he has a fantastic studio and uses it recreate the sonic palette of Electric Cafe era Kraftwerk.  however, he doesnt have the same merciless perfection, so ends up sounding closer to solo Karl Bartos projects (which, to my ear at least, is a good thing).  at any rate, the tracks have some humorous touches and are alot of fun:

Nice link, thanks for that, though I don’t think it sounds much like Electric CafĂ© or apart from some specific sounds like Kraftwerk ... Anyway, I think this is another good example how electronic musicians may become obsessed gear collectors ... or is he looking for THE sound ? maybe both!

I wish my dogs - like his son - would tweek some knobs and move some sliders, but all they managed to do is damage among others some effect unit and cause my CR-78 to fall on the floor ... huh ... it still works, lucky b*st*rd grin

yes, perhaps not strictly on-topic (thats maximum synth obsession, not minimal) but one of the few synth collectors ive seen on the net who also produces (what i consider to be) excellent music.

glad your cr78 is okay!  ^_^

Dogs haven’t been featured as keyboardists much, to my knowledge - There’s barking samples on some songs, but the only example I can remember where a dog has played keyboard, is The Cure’s “Babble”, a 1989 b-side. The dog only plays some sound effects over the finished product, not enough to obtain a co-writing credit and royalties.

That is interesting, Oyst, would love to hear that!

Actually, you can hear our Biene (Bee) barking on our first demo (between the intro and Join the Race) while Luke is howling along the high pitched notes when playing our first gig in our living room ... shoudl get them more involved, I htink there’s some hidden talents, no ? Btw, did you know we have seven of these four-footed friends now ? Wuffy-wah-wa!
