You’re wellcome :wink:  A few days ago, someone told me that Forums are out of fashion and that sites like Facebook would take over all these “marginal” forums.  Well, when I read all these posts here, I think he’s wrong.   There’s always room for Stattler and Walldorf. :D

I just ordered my copy of this.  And I ordered it on CD, because cds are more convenient for me to listen to. I don’t give 2 shits about collectibility any more.  The music is more important that a trophy.

Transparent Illusion

The transparent Illusion LP arrived today and I am really happy with the sound quality considering that no master tapes were used for the first 12 tracks and that it is a coloured vinyl. The Demo tracks are also quite good and fit well.

Many thanks for spending years of your life just that what I declared the most overrated minimal synth artist could enter the falck non-collection for some lousy Euros.  8)

The very very very best minimal synth groups of the UK are one and the same group : Stranger Station/Voice Patrol.
The 7” that Thomas released on it’s label just makes me impatiently waiting for all of it to be re-released.

Also, I believe you meant Strange Devotion, because Stranger Station, and Voice Patrol are not the same band.

I do love the Voice Patrol tape though, and the Strange Devotion tracks. 

They are more in the realm of Vice Versa though. 

I’m pretty sure no one else knows the other two bands that sound like Transparent Illusion and Neural Circus. 

You can post more tries if you want.  Here are some hints.

I received the TI cd today, as well as some very nice surprises.  Thanks Anna!!!

I put together the repackaging artwork on the Transparent Illusion LP and CD and I just wanted to say that Marc, Jochen, myself and the rest of the team put in a huge amount of effort to make this release happen. I am personally extremely proud of this achievement. It all started with a lot of letter-writing by Jochen and myself, back in 2007. Visits to libraries, etc. But what a journey! And now… an OFFICIAL Transparent Illusion LP is out there again, and it was all done because of our genuine love of the music, and for YOU. It was definitely all worth it. Hard work but lots of fun. Hope you all like the artwork - it took me about 30 hours to get it as exact as I could to the original!

I like the artwork of the LP edition, the stickers, poster… everything is really cool and at a really decent price!!
