HERE IS SOME MORE OF THE TRANSPARENT ILLUSION STORY.
I INTERVIEWED DAVE HOSER A FEW YEARS AGO, AND THIS IS WHAT HE SAID..

How Many People were in Transparent Illusion?

Just Roy

What were the Band Members Names? On the LP there is only one name which is
Roy Young. Do you remember what were the names of the other band members?

If there are any other members mentioned it would have been mates of mine helping out..

Around how old were the band members of Transparent Illusion in 1981?

Roy was about 18. He turned up with his elderly parents driving a Morris Minor
Where were the band from? Were they local to where Octopus Studios was, or
did they drive a distance to get there?

He lived in Haverhill a little town in Suffolk about an hours drive from the studio.
Were any of the Band Members of Transparent Illusion in Previous Bands, or
Connected to other bands? Such as swapping band members, or going to shows for
other bands? Do you remember any stories they told or what they talked about
in terms of music?

All the other musicians were in other bands. If you send me
names I might be able to give you some more info!

How many Recordings did you do with Transparent Illusion?

I can’t remember accurately, but I believe I did two albums and a single.

Was there another LP of recordings after “Still Human”?

I don’t remember

How many Transparent Illusion records do you own? and what are they called?

None, I sold all my test pressing years ago to pay a tax bill (very boring)

What are some memories that stick out in your head regarding the band
Transparent Illusion?

The guy was a bedroom muso and he had no skills as a musician. He just tapped out two finger notes on his Korg. It was left to me and others to produce the tracks into some semblence of sense. Roy was a very shy guy with no communication skills. He vented his teenage angst through his lyrics and repetitive sequences.

and the recording sessions you did with them?

I played bass( a Fender Jazz) and keyboards (a Moog Polyphonic)
