Hi all,
little Anna is turning five years old, so time to celebrate, no?!
Therefore ANNA LOGUE RECORDS is very soon coming up with three new CD releases:

ANNA 025-CD.2010 POEME ELECTRONIQUE The Echoes Fade CD
POEME ELECTRONIQUE was Dave Hewson (synthesisers, production), Sharon Abbott (lyrics, lead and backing vocals), Julie Ruler (backing vocals) and Les Hewson (bass), formed in 1980 by Dave Hewson in South London, UK, in 1980. Dave was studying music and as a rare kind of student species he had a deep fascination for New Wave and electronic music thus also playing and recording electronic music ever since like using the Boss DR-55, Cosmo Sound Super Drum, Elka Rhapsody 610, EMS Synthi AKS, Korg MS-20(X2)/Polysix/Polyphonic Ensemble 1000/VC-10 Vocoder, Linn Electronics LM-1, Octave Kitten, Roland RS-09/VP-330 Vocoder Plus, Simmons SDS-V Kit and Yamaha CS-80 on this retrospective POEME ELECTRONIQUE album with original material from 1981/82 only. Over the period of more than two years, Dave has remastered these tracks using the latest high-end tools and Stefan Bornhorst (The Silicon Scientist) has given additional input for making them sound better than ever before. After the release of the deluxe 2LP vinyl album (ANNA 025.2009), Anna Logue Records is happy to also release a digital CD format comprising a total of 14 tracks. The well-known track “The Echoes Fade” is the original version taken off the original 7” from 1982. The album “The Echoes Fade” cannot be described other than being a masterpiece and one of the best-ever early 80’s electro pop records ever, and it surely has to be lined up with Rational Youth or Experimental Products’ cult albums (in terms of being minimal synth/wave scene reference albums), but to be frank, Anna thinks that POEME ELECTRONIQUE were even above their level. Truly, they had deserved to go on the successful path like Depeche Mode, OMD or Soft Cell, but fate was against them as it seems. The main difference to other electro pop groups of that time was definitely that Dave did not only master his synths technically-wise, no, he also knew how to actually play, and when you hear his amazing multi-track ‘manual sequencing’, programming skills, great harmonies and melodies throughout the tracks, along with the two girls’ vocal performances - well they also can really sing! – you will agree there is some something remarkably extraordinary in these tracks. You will find minimal electro pop super hits like “Rendezvous”, “She’s an Image”, “Fragile”, or “Dilemma”; hauntingly beautiful melancholic tracks like “A Mourner’s Lament”, “This Night” or “It’s in the Atmosphere”; darkest minimal electronics on “Inside his Head”; and even more lighter tracks like “Follow”. This record will hopefully be loved by any electronic music lover and definitely is a highlight in the growing Anna Logue Records catalogue – the album is truly an outstanding release in every single aspect including sound and artwork presentation. This CD edition includes an exclusive 16pp fold-out poster with individual mini 7” sleeves for each song designed by our dear graphic designer Steve Lippert plus additional band member photos. After so many efforts and more than two years passing by, Anna is so over the moon to see this release being available also as CD now and we have done all we could to make this another outstanding release, so now it’s up to you to give the band their final glory, but Anna is in no doubt that – at least after hearing the sound samples - you will.

ANNA 027.2010 DELAYSCAPE Morse Disco 2CD
If Anna would have been asked what music would be like a mirror of her very soul, then she’d reply: listen to Morse Disco! DELAYSCAPE is Flemming Kaspersen from Copenhagen, Denmark, who is also a member of Rainscape and has previously been in Swimwear Catalogue. In DELAYSCAPE he is performing solo, creating the most beautiful melodic and melancholic electro you are most likely ever to hear. Usually, Anna did not find much fascination in electro acts as they are mostly missing the depth, the textures, the atmosphere, the ideas, and especially melodies, and, of course, that melancholy that Anna is seeking for in music. DELAYSCAPE is different, and unique, here suddenly it was all there and in a massiveness that lead to several emotional outbursts in Anna’s office. Flemming has rare abilities: he is such a master of sound synthesis, sequencing and he has a great imagination. His tracks are so full of the most brilliant synthesiser sounds, the most wonderful pads/strings, Roland TR-808 simulated rhythms and synthetic percussions, and all is so very organic and honest and interesting. While all tracks are instrumental pieces you shall not worry at all, you will not miss the vocals as there is too much to listen to while diving though DELAYSCAPE’s own sound universe. You will find similarities to Solvent and Lowfish for sure, but DELAYSCAPE is always even more deep and melodic, also Skanfrom, of course, then almost scientifically synthesised space sounds à la Clock DVA and lush and dreamy tracks almost à la Raison d’être. The 2CD set is divided in two parts: CD1 is designated “Music for Dancing at Home” featuring more upbeat tracks, and CD2 which is designated “Music for Frozen Journeys” featuring the more downtempo, ambient and even more atmospheric tracks. Apart from that, Flemming is teaching us a lesson: one must not own a TR-808, Jupiter-8, Prophet-5 or Solina String-Ensemble to produce amazing synthetic sounds and electronic music – it is not the machines but talent, interest and imagination that actually lead to extraordinary creations and results. Same was tried to being achieved with the artwork – many many hours were spent to adapt it to the music and finally it was so worth it, “Morse Disco” does surely have one of the most conceptual and beautiful artworks so far, and following the organic feel it was eventually printed on ecological recycled paper. All tracks were originally recorded between 2002 and 2007 and, apart from four previously unreleased tracks, released by the net labels Acrylik, Cold Room Netlabel, Cluster-Flux, Monotonik and Musicartistry. Mastering was beautifully done by Stefan Bornhorst (The Silicon Scientist). Sleeve by Steve. For Anna, “Morse Disco” now is the true highlight in the Anna Logue Records catalogue and hopes you will share her love for this wonderful release.

ANNA 031.2010 VARIOUS ARTISTS The Anna Logue Years - Fifth Anniversary Compilation 2CD
It seems that time flies when you work passionately on something: little Anna truly turns five years old! So, after five years of good fun, hard work and almost 30 releases, it is a good time to look into the past, present and slightly into the future to summarize what has been done. And anyway, as little Anna is a celebrity, no anniversary without a birthday present, so here it is, a lovely little 2CD compilation offered to the world:
The Anna Logue Years – 5th Anniversary Compilation [2005-2010]
Anna has carefully selected one track from each release ANNA 001 to ANNA 030, therefore including tracks from CAMERA OBSCURA (uk) – “Circular Waves”, “Moving the Mercury”, and “Strange Faces (2006)”, SLEEP MUSEUM (us) – “Stress”, and “Underground Maneuvers”, THE SILICON SCIENTIST (de) – “Oceans of Green”, and “Snowflakes”, CULTURAL AMNESIA (uk) – “Materialistic Man”, DESIGN (be) – “Fashion & Seduction”, BOYS DU SEVERE (ca) – “Mondmädchen”, CHAIN OF COMMAND (uk) – “Honour amongst Thieves”, NEW SHINY THINGS (us) – “Changing Colors”, SUDETEN CRECHE (uk) – “Glorious Treason”, ADN’ CKRYSTALL (fr) – “Gigolo Gigolette”, POEME ELECTRONIQUE (uk) – “The Echoes Fade (2007 Remix)”, MONUMENTS (it) – “Herz von Samt (1984)”, CAR CRASH SET (nz) – “Fall from Grace”, TWINS NATALIA (de/uk) – “When we were Young”, SPÖÖN FAZER (uk) – “Rising Sun”, SONNENBRANDT (de) – “Diskolied”, DILEMMA (de) – “Christmas Measure ‘88”, THE HANDS OF CAIN (gr) - “The Dagger in Me”, STRANGER STATION (uk) – “Minutes to Silence”, CARMODY (it) – “Messengers of Love”, LISFRANK (it) – “It’s Life”, DELAYSCAPE (dk) – “Mars Control”, CHROMAGAIN (it) – “Killing Dome”, INTELLIGENCE DEPT. As if it wasn’t already enough, Anna adds three previously unreleased tracks to the list: the very rare and sought-after 1983 track “Village of Stars” by CAMERA OBSCURA, the new track “Operators” by THE SILICON SCIENTIST, as well as finally a new sign of life from the TWINS NATALIA who contribute “Destiny”. Therefore not simply a label compilation, and also useful as a nice entry into Anna’s world or into the world of early 80’s analogue electro pop, minimal electronics, minimal synth, minimal wave, electro, NDW and dark wave in general. Drawings by Érick Moncollin (ADN’ Ckrystall). Mastering by Stefan Bornhorst (The Silicon Scientist). Sleeve by Steve. So, don’t be shy and send Anna your birthday greetings and celebrate with her.
