hello. i just had to tell some of you here about three very interesting re-releases that have come to pass.
first of all: dobri isak. im sure some of you have heard this band, as their cassette was avaliable for download on several sites. but now, finally, someone have had the excellent taste to release it on cd. although its only a cd-r, its still packed with great stuff. as several bonustracks, a small booklet (in serbian) with lyrics and pictures of the band.

i sent them 5 euro in a letter and got back the cd. highly recommended!!!
second, karma musik has, at last, released the “somewhere outside”-compilation! also on cd. for those of us who have not got the money to buy the original vinyl doublealbum its a fantastic opportunity to listen to some great danish tunes. im sure you all are aware of the fact that Moral is on it, but my favourites are the tracks by Escape Artists. great joy division-inspired gloom! the 7 other bands are all great as well.

thirdly, we have a nice swedish contribution. massproduktion has released all avaliable songs by the great slits-postpunkers Mögel. for those of you who have heard their two songs on the “mun mot mun metoden”-cassette know that the songs not on their MP is even better than their vinyl appearance. this is also on cd with some great artwork and small history of the band. you can get it on massproduktions very convenient webshop here: http://shop.textalk.se/se/shop.php?id=161
and while you are there you can also purchase some great, original vinyl by some great swedish groups like stadion, vacum and avant gaam!
last, but not least a finnish label is about to release a double-cd with their best post-punk artists. Eilisen Jälkeen - Suomalaista Postpunkkia 1981-1987. i think the release date is set to 27th january. be sure to check it out!
