Something Cold’s premier at the CONTEMPORARY ART INSTITUTE OF DETROIT! We will be celebrating our exciting new home by freezing the night with two excellent performances. David Blunk II (GODCLUB/DETHLAB) will debut his very own experimental electronics vessel VERNICHTUNG, as well as our lo-fi friends MEAN MUGGER! Steve Barman of the infamous Steve Barman Show will be filming a segment for MOTOR CITY ROCKS on Something Cold.

Something New, Something Old, Something Borrowed…Somthing Cold
Teen dreams of technoir alienation. Detroit’s cavern for minimal-synth, European coldwave, early Electronic Body Music, new wave, various post-punk and other oddites. We are dedicated to bringing you the most unusual and unique lively art and cold pleasure. Frequent guest DJ’s, live acts from within our community and beyond. Something Cold is Detroit’s post-industrial reflection. Dance your misery away under the strobelight funeral. We are held the second Thursday of every month at the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit!”
