Hello all this is my first post.. BBC 4 will be airing this doc sept. 15 The BBC has announced that it will be airing Synth Britannia, a documentary “exploring the impact of electronic music on popular culture in Britain,” as part of its autumn/winter schedule.

Well since I am across the pond I was wondering if anyone is going to record this ?

Now I know i’m new and what I am asking is a long shot .. but I am willing to trade for this DVD. So maybe I posted this topic in the wrong section?

Synth Britannia

For anyone outside of the UK. If you go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer then select channels followed by BBC4 you will find Synth Britannia online or for download. However they only usually keep it on for a week after the broadcast. I did recorded it on DVD and could possibly share it some where if someone can tell me the best place (not youtube due to copyright issues).

I found a torrent of it, along with a torrent called “Synth Britannia At The BBC” which is a bunch of TOTP and OGWT footage of the bands in the documentary.

I thought it was a pretty good documentary for being produced by a network.  Well worth tracking down.
