hello everybody,
i’m searching for the name of the band that plays a song i found on a cassette that i recorded from the radio. it has to be from the mid-eighties, 1980-1986 period. it’s a mid-tempo song in the vein of, say, “poem for a nuclear romance” by anne clark, and a male voice repeats the refrain “eliminate your enemies / while your encourage your friends” over synth melodies. it’s quite dark, and i’ve been searching for it for ages. any suggestion will be appreciated. here’s a sample:
