Dear all, especially native English speaking folks this time,

could anyone please try make out the lyrics to this track:

STRANGER STATION - Strangers

It’s from their 1981 7”, the b-side, and said to be about the Cold War, but the vocals are so blurry, impossible to make them out for myself.

Any help highly appreciated!

Interesting post,
as I just began to really write down (english sung)
songs that I can’t hear the lyrics first time around.
I’m native english speaker but,
I only have the Minutes to Silence song.
I’ll try that one. be back soon.

Done, that was a quick song.
I’m 80% sure of what I got from this,
except the 2nd line (going to be headline/ wannabe headline??)
I wrote what my instincts told me.

mmm.. this is why I love this kinda music,
so many interesting stories in these little songs.
Not to mention the good singing voices ‘natural’ native accents.
The songs generally are authentic, original and honest.  8)

At first, I thought you needed help with “M.T.S.” so I was excited,
but I see it is Strangers, which I bet will be trickier, as you say.

Yeah I’d like to try. A low bitrate mp3 to my email would be a good idea. Low rate because my normal faster PC is down at this time. Or you can post it on a blog if you have that.

Hmm, A fine track, sounds great with headphones.
I listened about 5 times,
and this is what I discovered.
The first half of the “STRANGERS” song
I can’t tell much, but the second half of the lyrics,
I feel I heard almost fully correct.
Just the line “Be kind or Decline” I can’t tell,
but I think it’s Be Kind…’ If I come up
with any new words, I’ll let y’all know.
BTW,
This song kinda sounds like a Nico but synth, and not Organ.
