Hi everyone from Barcelona,

I’m a newbie here, this is my first post.

As a perfect example of minimal synth rock’n'roll, i would recommend the song “Tupes en Crecimiento” by the spanish band Derribos Arias. It was on the b-side of the “A Fluor” 7’’ (1982). Nice twang-twang guitars over bass-synth and drum machine rhythm… The a-side is interesting enough…

Of course, i would recommend some tracks by Metal y Ca, especially the song “Velocidad”...

I´m not from Barcelona, but who cares (?) ...

Doctor Mix And The Remix. Metal Boys are just weird electronic pop. To my ears anyway.

The one word that seems out of place is “just”... Why “just”? What else should they be? What you have against weird electronic pop?

First. I have nothing against weird electronic pop. Infact, there should more be of it :wink: .
I didn’t agree with Metal Boys being pidgeon-holed as “S&R”. Reading back my own post,  perhaps I should have written “simply” instead? Please forgive me. I am not a native speaker.

speaking about weird sounds, are there any recomendations for freaked out organ punk songs like kitchen spoons - happy funeral. i enjoy this one so much and im searching for equivalents. Der Wawazawa is pretty close, hihi.
