Inspired by all the minimal synth stuff ive been listening to the last years, this is my go on minimal synth, “80s” synth wave something. Instrumental and heavy on samples…
Give it a try and say what you like or dont like!

yeah, that’s my immediate reaction too - although, the samples do have that 80s industrial feel… the cut-ups from experimental artists are probably the only 80s “idea” that hasn’t been resurrected - ie. before now wink

It’s nice, in fact, I listened to all the myspace tracks, but it would be cool if you could find a vocalist. And sorry, I’m neither pretty enough to sing on stage or good enough to sing on record, thank you very much grin

Thanks! I will definitely start looking after a vocalist. Moving to Brussels in a month, I guess it cant be impossible to find some one there who’s interested…

But 80s sampling techniques are wonderful,  for example TONE SET - calibrate, in ‘out out’, cant get enough of that guy screaming out out out out! =)

Writing lyrics is not easy for sure but try it again and again and again.
Singing is not so difficult when you have your lyrics.
Know what I mean?

you do have a point, but I think I would need another ingredient than just stubbornness, something like beer maybe ?

Here’s an idea from me that you can have for free: Keep sampling, only do it in a different way: Walk down the street, and write down bits of conversation that you overhear. Soon, someone will utter something that will trigger you off, and bam! You’re a lyricist… grin

A week or so ago, my brother was ranting about how much he hates poetry. I wrote it down exactly as he said it, and showed it to him. Eek! It looked like a poem…

My point is, it’s possible to find the lyrics around, you don’t have to be Leonard F’king Cohen for us to be interested!

Good luck!
