Thanks Chev, now all I have to do is write the songs on the League of Nations… Oh no! Too late.  LOL

A funny thing happened: I checked discogs.com an hour ago, and there were 5 copies of this, priced from $25 to €58. But checking just now, all 5 copies are gone? Of course, it may be that five guys got up early and decided they must have this, no matter what it cost, but it could also be that reporting stuff in discogs is not as impossible as I had thought…

Well played, whoever.

Maybe Dom Mickey (Il Pratino) is behind all this? Wiped out the Discogs competition and now he’s the only one pushing the shit out there?

In my opinion, they will re-appear as there is a new submission pending of the bootleg.
Just like it was the case for the bootleg of Transparent Illusion.

How can I find out wether it is a bootleg or the original?
Rumour says that some “unused” Originals have appeared (without “Thin Ice Door” so these might at least be different bootlegs than the one offered on eBay)

Well, I’ve got an offer from a honorable seller. He bought some copies and his “source” assured they are originals, not bootlegs.
I tried to contact the only person I know who owns the original asking for the matrix # ... but I did not get an answer so far.

Actually the price requested for this original is still very high ... don’t know if I would pay it even if it’s really an original ... but it’s much lesser than the prices for Originals on eBay in the last years ...

“Every time a copy of this bootleg appears on ebay, the authors or composers of the songs just have to report this to ebay and it will be removed immediately”

Why don’t the authors or composers release it officially by themselves? I would imagine many labels would like to do the reissue as well.???????

Anyone out there actually got the album that includes the Thin Ice Door in less than mint condition…? Off course those sellers claim they only picked the mint ones from the “massive liquidation sale”; this way they both say they are innocent in the making of the bootleg and also explains why all copies that surface are in mint condition. Cheap.

Difference original and reissued lp

I don’t know if there’s different versions bootlegs sold on the web actually…...i receive lp order on discogs for 20 euros today.

Difference with my original : red colour is less dark on the reissue lp, but very similar.

Record and Back cover included in tracklist Thin ice door and round logo also, letter and white band are biggest on back cover.

Sound is good.

My advice : this product is perfect and comes from a professionnal label… My only regret, they must included the second version of fade (issued of 12 inch taursus).

An other thing i’m sure, this is a new product , not a old mint lp stock.

An other mythic collector is dead .........

Falck, you should buy it

Hey,

I hate straightforward stuff, could somebody please give an edge to this?

Wait, where are we…

..we’ve got an original release
...we’ve got at least one flavour of bootleg
...we’ve got the most fantatic rumours…

....peaking in the attempt of a seller of bootlegs to all of a sudden pose as a serious collector and to spread the rumor that this “new release” is from

a) a professional label wanting to remain anoymous (as they always try to)
b) a mysterious collector who died and who happened to own tons of those slightly different originals in mint condition

and this at the very same time.  8)

Personally I find this highly entertaining, but I fear that another undesirable effect of this could be that the value of the originals will decrease and that’s bad news for all those who spent big bucks on this killer LP.

But as Reactorltgn pointed out earlier, the damage’s been done.
