So a Roman historian should just shut up and not write essays because he never lived in Roman times. You are right.

I think it’s great how tolerant this forum is.

Not only Mickeys but even Frenchmen allegedly born before 1970 who never had an English lession in their lives are allowed to post here .....

And here’s little Dom’s task for today: try to look up the phrase “people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”  8)

No, what he’s saying is, let the Roman historians write their essays, while he and his old buddies from the Roman empire will sit and smile.

Yours
Mick

Will every one born after 1970 please leave this forum! We don’t care how big your collection is, you are to young, so there is no point in trying to talk minimal wave with us old farts who where there back in the days… If you haven’t left by tomorrow, the minimal synth police will have no other option than to give you a minimal fine.

And you never get the point , do you? 8)

It is never about your English as such, it’s just that the level of arrogance you display and the quality of your English do not quite match.

I mean, what’s the idea of your post?

You tell us you and some obscure mates of yours nobody knows are THE experts on minimal wave and many people posting here are laughable figures.

What is the use of such a post to anybody on the forum? None whatsoever.

Many people registered here even make music themselves so regardless of their age they should know something.

You on the other hand seem to be the very thing you claim to despise: a poser never ever giving info on anything and simply making a bit of noise from time to time.

So my nominee for the title of Minimal Wave Mickey of the Year is:

tatatata…Dom Laporte

Ok, come on, even you could have done better.  8)

I mean, you could e.g. have said you’re not sure if HervĂ© really was in touch with one Kevin Lazar in the early 80s, with him having been an 11-year-old French-speaking kid at the time and Kevin Lazar having been a completely unknown underground artist in the US and all, and HervĂ© could have chosen to answer you.

Then your post might have at least produced something tangible as opposed to “Me and my imaginary friends are in the know and we laugh at those Mickeys out there”.

But maybe that’s because of your youth…

Well, there seems to be more than one level to this question.

Answer 1: I’m not aware of any deleted posts

Answer2: if your current environment is some paradise island, I will leave it up to your good judgement how sunny beaches and delicious cocktails rate against this thread

But if you get bored you can of course always try to educate them natives on good music
