Done on purpose due to the bootleggers out there.

You mean people trying to sell it off as an original would be caught out because of that and not because of the “P 2008 pylon records” bit at the bottom?  8)

Looks like a plain typo to me, and as a media artist I am remotely familiar with typos.

Anyways, it arrived today and what a joy to have The Condos on vinyl at last :D

I wonder if it was a serious remark…but besides Pylon clearly mentioned on recordsleeve and label, the whole backside is entirely different from the original. And who says originals dont contain print errors?

What I would find interesting though is - given that Mr. Fields gave us the honour of registering here - to know how he feels about the status of The Condos in relation to the rest of his work?

I frankly admit I belong to those who feel it is Iron Curtain’s stand-out über track….

no way! tarantula scream is AT LEAST as good and the other tracks all were amazing as well. Love can never die, terror story, anorexia, first punk wars all just unequalled! Passionately hoping for a ‘one december day’ release on vinyl as well…

And I dont really get you sencha. Your link clearly shows the original has a totally different backside to the repress, so why do you try to refute what i said? MIND YOU I didnt say the original contained the print error, just that print errors are not uncommon on originals either and simply not a likely method for someone who wants to destinguish between original and reissue.

8O :?: My God, why are you so aggressive Spartak ? Please believe me, I don’t try to refute anything, I only wanted to put here a link with the picture of the original sleeve, nothing else… For me this print mistake has absolutely no importance. I am very happy to have the reissue of this nice record and that’s all. :wink:

typo?

hi. i i didn’t see any typo on the copies i received from pylon. where is it? so anyway, my new album by cosmic love child, entitled ‘we are medicine’ should be released in september. out of the nine songs, there are new versions of three iron curtain songs (one december day, punk wars, television saved my life). don’t know when it will be on vinyl. but more details coming soon.

What about the demo/live vinyl of Iron Curtain that should appear on Pylon Records this month ? Still on schedule ?
