Frequent Waves & Stephen Spera
Hi Michael,
thanks for playing Herr Solskinn (and only mentioning that ominous norwegian collector…btw you might this be then ???). It is pronounced Herr Suulschien, while the title is pronounced Müljiätär (engl.: options).
Info on Stephen Spera was requested: Stephen is now living in New York City. He is still making electronic music, though more ambient soundscapes stuff and other styles. I have one very amazing CD with sound sculptures à la Nurse With Wound, very impressive! He even did a “coverversion” of one of my songs.
Then he’s a professional photographer and travelling a lot through Africa.

He released the 3-track 7"EP “Sound of the Crowd” in 1982, pressed in Holland. The other two tracks are “My Geography” and “Men & Women Part I”. He has no copies left. I think I remember there were some sampler contributions, e.g. three tracks on the “On-slaught No.3” cassette.
There is an unreleased album left, recorded together with Greg Baxter. We are discussing a release of this one, but progress is slow…
Hope that helps!
