I’ve been reading “Joy Division and the Making of Unknown Pleasures” by Jake Kennedy, so I have been playing the 2CD re-issue, a ton, this week.  But then again, when do I not play it a ton?

Joy Division—“Unknown Pleasures”

One of my favorites. This summer I’ve been reading another book on JD:

“Joy Division; Piece By Piece, writing about Joy Division 1977-2007” by Paul Morley.
A collection of interviews and essays. Recommended.

Not a bad book… a lot of repeated stories, but still enjoyable.  Has anyone read Morley’s memoir, “Nothing”?

I hope you enjoy it as well. I thought it was quite interesting. It is a good counter balance to “Touching From A Distance” which is basically about Deborah dealing with her and Ian growing apart, his suicide and this band called Joy Division.

Moebius&Plank;—“En Route”

Teutonic Kraut Electronics.
