I read at Discogs,
that these two song, 7’‘/12’’ FALLOUT CLUB recordings were
mostly done by Thomas Dolby. Interesting… didn’t know that.
Which is probably good, as this I like better in terms of sound.
Very good music…
Now, my question is with rateyourmusic.com,
the release dates say that Dream Soliders was relased at May 16, 1980
which could be true. but Wonderlust says October 3, 1980…
1980??? Best song production ever made in 1980. lol.
I doubt this is 1980 as it sounds too advanced for this year.
Does anyone know the correct/exact dates?
- It’s odd but untill about 1982, D.A.F. was one of very few eletronic music I heard that was really broad and connected for it’s time. Der Mussolini (1980) for example. Another example is Moev’s Zimmerkampf 1982 which is far expanded musically, compared to Cracked Mirror in 1981.
Facinating… 80s’ still.  8)

Hi, I don´t have the exact release date, but 1980 seems very likely since their debut single Falling Years got also released in 1980.

Cheers,
Alex

The two singles on Happy Birthday records Have catalogue no’s UR3 and UR7.

According to Discogs, UR5 was released in August 81 and UR6 on Nov 28th, 1981.

So while UR3 could have come already in 1980, I suppose it’s a fair guess that UR7 was released either in December 1981 or in early 1982.
