great news from CLOGSONTRONICS website:

July 2008

Way back in 1982 after their first demo tape was rejected by 2 record companies the members of Ensemble Pittoresque decided to invest into more equipment to record and release their first album themselves. In November 1982 they gathered all their songs, idea’s and equipment to start recording in a squatted monumental building in rich Wassenaar called Huize Rijksdorp. Clogsontronics released this what later would became their best known record in the beginning of 1983. Called For This Is Past, the album tittle clearly refers to Störung’s This Is Future album. Now 25 years later this collectors item is re-released in the new Clogsontronics format as Vinyl + CD in one package. The package features a Hansaboard sleeve with glued-on picture, inner sleeve with lyrics and credits as well as 2 Paulus Wieland designed “HoSuMuKu Collective” stickers (his never established art collective). Again the original mastertape was used. With minor sound enhancements and pressed on 180 grams vinyl as well as offered on CD the quality of the re-issue clearly surpasses the original release from 1983. Limited edition, 700 hand-stamped and matched numbers for Vinyl and CD.

I have the original record in my collection but there is no insert into it… :?
Is this insert only included in the reissue or also in the first edition ? If it’s the case, could somebody send me a copy (pdf or paper) of the original insert, that would be very kind ?  :D

Hello,

cool, the reissue is even more limited than the original.
700:1000 copies.  8)

@sencha:
The insert above is for the re-print only.
Only a few copies of the original had an one-sided
2-colour print with them displaying a 30 people choir
where each one has a big nose and dumbo-like ears.
Quite funny.

Cheers,
Alex

I have the original, but this one is now on the wishlist as well. The Störung re-issue is great.
