Comando Suzie—“Pobres Chavales” CD

Very nice Punch release bordering on minimalwave. Very different from the usual Punch output.

Interior—“Interior” LP

A very decent Japanese Cluster clone.

[quote author=“Claudia101”]I love Five Or Six, but I only have their ” A Thriving And Happy Land” LP.

I’ll be glad to help you out ACB grin
Check out this link:

A really strong LP by this sadly underrated band…

I want to thank you for posting that URL; I’d never heard of “Five Or Six” before, and I was buying records back then so I have no real excuse, but I’m seriously jonesing on “Polar Exposure” at the moment.  Sublime, really.

I am working my way backwards through the Wire discography, today.

I still do not have the recent “Read & Burn 3” CD, or a few of the other Pinkflag label releases, which came out after “Send.”

I enjoy tracking their main phases, in any case…

Bauhaus “Go Away White”

To me, some of the songs sound like classic Love and Rockets with Peter Murphy singing for them; some songs could fit on a Peter Murphy solo LP (or they could Dalis Car outtakes due to the bass), but with obvious guitar credit to Daniel Ash; and some songs sound like they were played by a vital, reborn Bauhaus.  Too bad they called it quits… again.  Well, maybe not.  I do, however, anticipate many listens to this CD.

[This is not totally unlike the phenomenon of the last Throbbing Gristle album, which for me was primarily like a Coil record with Genesis P-Orridge singing on it, re-mixed, a bit, by Chris & Cosey.  Yet, I rather enjoy it.

“The Collection”? Excuse? What Collection?  8O

Did VV finally manage to re-release their material?

Or is it just a cd-r of the tracks from the cassette and the 7”-ers?
