[quote author=“cr-78”]you certainly have a nice cash flow!
I got lucky with some of the stuff:
The Wibbley Bros. and Basking Sharks stuff I got from band members for a next to nothing.
The duplicates came about because I was able to buy a sealed copy of an item I already had, except for the Hot Paradox lp. All three look excellent, but are fairly noisy in spots when playing.
How is that Class Info EP? I always see it sell for wads of cash, but haven’t heard any tracks from it. And I haven’t heard anything from Dark White either… I’m so out of the loop!

“Diverse” is the word, some fantastic music on it, as well as some… un-fantastic music.
I could email you some mp3`s if you like, send me a pm.

Oyst,
Can you send them this way too please?
You know me….I don’t do this downloading business thing. I rely on the generosity of others :D :D

Like most private releases, uneven would be the best way to describe both of them. Some of the stuff on both eps is great, some a waste of groove time.
I have this record too. First of all, in my opinion, it is NOT minimal; just synth/dark wave. I hear some echoes of Gary Numan, à;Grumh and old Clan of Xymox in it. 5 tracks on it of which 1 is a remix of one of the other tracks.
I was bit suprised to find Parade Ground on this list, I must admit. Back in my EBM days, I bought their Cut-up LP and resold it rather quickly. If I remember correctly the “Strange World” single was the only thing I liked on there at the time, so they didn’t really rate as candidates for expensive cult items for me.

Wouldn’t mind having a listen to Man in a Trance
Parade Ground is a little bit underestimated, I think. Their first song, appearing on “Nationale Rockmeeting” is a coldwave pearl, just like their 7” ep. Minimal wave fans should buy absolutely 12 inch “Man In A Trance” ! The track “The Net” is a real killer.

The music on Cut Up is nothing like the “Man In A Trance” ep. IMO. In fact, I don’t like anything else I’ve heard from them, but the tracks on MIAT are excellent.

I bought this for Call Of The Wild and Dramatics…the rest is nothing special.
Well, I think the Thank You for this site goes to Veronica by all rights. :D
Would like to take advantage of this opportunity to also say that this is a fantastic place for finding info on rare stuff (I might have bought that Twilight Ritual LP on Gemm if not for this forum), discovering new stuff and last but not least creating havoc . :D
Now I’m not really into that MP3 selling business, and I hope no-one round here is. This might spawn another discussion about the Flexipops, BTW
I’ll send you a PM.
Greetz,
falck
Twilight Ritual released an lp? Is this the same group that appears on the Contactdisc series? If yes, who do I have to kill to get a copy of this lp? (just joking…well, maybe not)
I also ordered their 1982 album The Ritual (which never got released on vinyl) as a CDR from Peter, I like it a lot, of the track “Webbmen” there is also a current 12” release (Flexx).
Well, there’s quite a bit of stuff that has been released by Twilight Ritual.
Hey,
just to plug TWR further, I got the Rituals CD from the label as well as one cd by Autumn/ Linear Movement called “Not Afraid To Die” which has the fantastic song “Night In June” as well as two versions of “Synthesize”.
Get them from http://www.micrart.com, is my advice. Although, I haven’t checked twilightritual.com - maybe they sell the discs from there too? Falck?
