I can’t find a mention of Shox Lumania albums anywhere online! no albums mentioned on discogs, nor many google pages deep in searches. Sure there’s “Live at the Peppermint Lounge” but no proper albums.  a couple studio recordings surface on comps and the Man Parrish era has a few videos on Youtube which seem studio recorded. what gives? are there LP’s out there? I really want to hear more than just “Live at the Peppermint Lounge” anything to help would be appreciated.

There’s that 7” called (I Have) No Shoes/Signals. Do you know it?

And re: more tracks, the person to ask is probably Richard Bone himself. He’s very kind so I’m sure he will answer your question. Find his contact here

thanks! haha I actually found that between the time i posted the question and now. but perhaps I will try and contact Richard Bone as you recommend to see if there’s anything else. Perhaps also Man Parrish, who has the Shox Lumania videos on his website. Couldn’t hurt to ask I.

Shox Lumania had a live cassette on ROIR, 2 videos on the Sony Dancepack video, and some later-day demos recorded in California with a predominantly different line-up.

I’ve got an extra copy of the tape if anyone is interested in a trade.

Here’s a link to the videos: http://www.manparrish.com/video/

If you ask Merrill (website below) she’ll mail you a DVD copy of the Danspak 1 video.

Containing Man Parrish: “Hip Hop, Be Bop (Don’t Stop),” Shox Lumania: “Falling” and “Pointy Headgear,” Richard Bone: “Alien Girl,” and Living: “Boat Talk.”

Good luck

I’m looking for the 7” “Pirate the Islands” and the lp “Emerging Melodies”, both on Rumble Records. I’m willing to give something nice in trade grin
