“I’m completely individual because the type of black I wear varies slightly from that one of my friends, and I’m the most tolerant person on the planet it’s just that I can’t stand people not wearing black”
type of goths be a good home for your robot?
there’s another forum for the more exclusively minded cold/minimal fans at “Secondhand Daylight”.
———————————————————-
I don’t know all the records Angel is offering, but the ones I know seem highly appropriate for the people here - Iko ‘83 for instance being the second favourite LP of the forum at present, rated a full 5 stars…
Being Norwegian, I read Death Rock and thought it meant Death Metal :?

yeah , and shall we know what is the problem about it ?
I made a FORUM to speak only about COLDWAVE and EXPERIMENTAL ANALOG . I think this is a good idea to reduce the “Subgender” to 1 thing in a Whole than to loose ourselves . Don’t you think so ?
If you had check it , since you last passage 1 year ago ( lol ) also , you would have remarked that the Main Title of OUR FORUM have changed due to those numerous “Passeisits Colwave Teachers” . The head of OUR Forum is : FORUM DEDICATED TO GENERIC EXPERIMENTAL ROMANTIC ANALOG SYNTH MUSIC OUT OF ALL CLICHES or STEREOTYPES .
And that makes sense in 2007 , where all people speak about COLDWAVE despite COLD WAVE is dead ... COLDWAVE was the 80’s ... As I repeat it infinitely for mounths across this Forum , I had never listened to something COLDWAVE since 1992/1993 and that was the end of the “Touching Pop” Erea . I Hate stereotypes or Purists like many people , my Friend . But , between a -False Purist- and a Purist Retro 80’s , I prefer the Cold Purist at least if you ask me to choose between them hehe
[quote author=“falck”]There’s a “friend” missing before the “hehe”....
There’s nothing missing now ! lol But , I am sure that those ideas which I evocated upper are not so false and so it have sense to say it there. And anyway ... If we listen to “Coldwave 2007 People” ( sort of good pleonasm , no ? lol ) , it’s this Forum who has the truth about COLDWAVE ( not SECONDHAND DAYLIGHT RECORDS FORUM ) : http://www.nordwaves.info/forum/ as they even proposed me to erase OUR to join it , so…............
Which Church is so true to be followed ??? Tell me all !!
Music has become an History of Church , Politix , Influence , False Friendship and -Fuck Beside Their Back- and -Money Interest- despite everyone say they don’t make music for the Money ... ... Every people think they have the Golden Truth and that’s really sad ...
Point well-taken. Whereas I fully realize this is a “minimal synth” or “minimal wave” message board, had I ONLY been selling deathrock LP’s, I surely would not have wasted anyone’s time by posting my announcement here. But seeing as Absolute Body Control, Denis & Denis, Kirlian Camera, Mark Lane, and Iko 83 are listed in the “Artist Listing” section, I thought I’d mention my current and future/planned eBay auctions. Furthermore, the fact that I also know of a couple Minimal Wave members whose outlandishly eclectic musical tastes also happen to include the “deathrock” genre didn’t make it seem like such a bad idea at the time.
It was never my intention to be a cause of distress to anyone here by blackening the purity of this website by mentioning “deathrock” LP’s, so I hereby extend my sincerest apologies to those who took offense at my blasphemies. Once again, my apologies, and “in nomine patris et filii et minimal synth sancti”, or some other such words to that effect…
“Want an opinion? I’ll give you ten to one…” taken from neither coldwave nor experimental pop band ABC as in “not Absolute Body Control”. :D
I’m just completely bored with this genre discussion if a band is already coldwave or still pop, if it’s pop or touching pop, experimental, minimal synth or whatever - in reality it’s mainly about the status of the listener who wants to establish himself as someone at the very heart of his scene or leading that scene - just as our friend the robot who is trying so hard.
But in the end it just comes down to the very simple question whether you personally like the music in question or not. And to throw in something for the ladies: “is a rose not a rose if known by another name?”
Angelo,
Thanks for posting the thread to your ebay auctions. I want at least a couple of those items you mention, and if I don’t bid, it’s just because someone has already offered you enough for the items. Good luck on the auctions!
As for the distress you’ve caused… I think you’ll find that the True Cold people like a bit of distress to go with their music
Out of interest, what IS “death rock” :?: Not cold wave, not goth, but something else entirely? How entirely? (You see, apart from the rule of not discussing any other music than the two first Snowy Red LPs, we have a rule of always sending the threads off down any rabbit hole we can find)

I agree with you . But , concerning the Coldwave itself it’s hard for this style to evolve and be generalized to a Mass because the criteria of this music is precisely -Musically- defined by the fact to be apart of any scene of Any World Monetary involvement . So , I cannot trust people who sell Coldwave Wave Records for the Love of this Music in 2007 . I can’t also trust the melt of MONEY with MUSIC in a whole , as open as I can be

You didn’t answer to all I said and speak in a detourned/distorted indirect way to say things or nothing constructive lol bravo !
First of all, I’m not writing in any “detourned/distorted indirect way”, I’m as straightforward as they come. As for my motives, hopefully the person to whom I directed my “detourned/distorted” comments understood more than you apparently did.
I have no special urge as you say “to say things or nothing constructive”, I wanted to thank Angel for posting. Surely you noticed?
However, skipping the fact that the last post I made was directed at someone else…
-try as I might, I don’t understand what you are trying to say half the time!
“the criteria of this music is precisely -Musically- defined by the fact to be apart of any scene of Any World Monetary involvement . “
Please read it again! What is this? What World Monetary involvement?? This entire post reminds me of Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect’s analysis of Vogon poetry.
As for the longest post, I got stranded at this: “I think this is a good idea to reduce the “Subgender” to 1 thing in a Whole than to loose ourselves . Don’t you think so?”
You know, even supposing that by “subgender” you mean “subgenre”, which is a bit more meaningful althoug seriously not much, I can’t understand what you’re trying to say. “Loose ourselves”? “1 thing in a Whole”?
It is possible of course that you’re trying to take issue with the “death rock” reply from Alan, although I sincerely can’t be sure.
Try again if you can be bothered, and please cut the metrosexual bla-bla this time.
