Egomaniac that I might be, just because I’m not aware of any trades, does that necessarily mean that there are none taking place on a planet populated by an estimated 7 billion people?
Thing is I don’t know how many got pressed, but if you have proof there’s only 5, I agree there will be no going rate :D
The going rate is the price you can expect to get out of a certain item. In this case, the record could sell for 50 or 750 euros, it has been sold once in modern times, at the price you paid for it (not much I suppose?), and it may get a hundred times that.
In other words, I think it’s impossible to tell. In other words, I think there is no going rate.
IOW, the 12” sells for around 100 euros. Thus, Carlos solves the matter of the “going rate” and also gives some hope of obtaining the record to those of us who don’t have it.
Thanks for the warm welcome. Spectacular site. Nice to see there’s a place like this in cyberspace.
“Computer Haben Herzschmerz” was a favorite among my friends circa 1983. I don’t think I’ve heard it since. 25th high school reunion is coming up (yikes!), and I’m trying to put together music for the after party. Went web surfing and found your post.
I’d pay good money for an MP3, if you’re into that kind of thing ...
Well, I think the Thank You for this site goes to Veronica by all rights. :D
Would like to take advantage of this opportunity to also say that this is a fantastic place for finding info on rare stuff (I might have bought that Twilight Ritual LP on Gemm if not for this forum), discovering new stuff and last but not least creating havoc . :D
Now I’m not really into that MP3 selling business, and I hope no-one round here is. This might spawn another discussion about the Flexipops, BTW
You don’t need to fuck them falck to get the message accross
But you seem to know your way around… you havent lived / studied there by any chance?
Yup, spent 2 1/2 years in Amstelveen (suburb of Amsterdam) selling Unix kit to Frenchmen. Bumped into Clan of Xymox at a few occasions as there are not that many places to go
Of course I wasn’t referring to the verb but to the noun….I just think the Dutch expression “mierenneuker” for people who like to split hairs is the best in any language I know…and Reactorlgtn, in all fairness, I fear I’m a bit of a mierenneuker myself
