Minimal Wave Records

I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to support our release party in Bochum and the Martial Canterel performance in Sint-Niklaas last week, and to everyone who helped to support our new label by buying the WIERD Compilation, which is an introduction to this very dedicated scene and world we’ve all been building here in New York City for the past 5 or so years.  I especially wanted to thank the amazing Plastikmann, the lovely Ms. Tanja, and Chevalier for your hospitality and generosity in inviting us all to come so far to play for you! 

I’m happy to say the date is now confirmed for our NYC WIERD Compilation Release Party, and just wanted to give everyone an early warning for this WIERD and wild night of pure Minimal Wave…come on out and dance in the cold with us!!!

I recommend EVERYBODY to buy the WIERD compilation. The record hasn’t been from my record player all these days and when I listened to it I fell from one surprise into another. Congratulations to Pieter and all the bands involved!

how do you guys manage to have 12 bands perform live in one night ? plus two DJs ??? that is wierd indeed, no ?

I second that !   Bought it today, at the moment, the third 12” is playing and I must admit : very good box !
And my little son (5 days old) appreciates it too : he’s sleeping very well.

Indeed, very nice release, wish to have it soon on vinyl but the promo cds are already brillant!

damn, that I missed it, but I got a phone-call this morning (4:00 in New York, so right after the party) and heard, that it was amazing…

I heard it was really great! I was hoping to hear about it last nite during the minimal electronik plus show but nothing!
