Is this scary or what? Geez man… you are so “not nice” that you scare me.

I’m not sure if you have good english reading comprehension, because
if you did you would be laughing at that.

Now seriously, please bring here a happy Obscure Identities buyer, just one. Am i asking that much? I’d like to know if there is a single guy happy to spend the double of the price for OI reissues…

There are a lot of people that are very happy owning obscure identities releases.

There are also no Obscure Identities reissues, and the price of obscure identities releases is the price.  It is not double any price, and it is determined by the collectors.

I am releasing hand made, diy, records in a limited edition of 80 copies and the price is reflective of that.

Other labels are releasing mass produced 500 copy pressings of records and the price reflects their releases.

if that army of artists will read all you insane replies here, they won’t publish for you at all.

My replies are not insane.  They are very well thoughout and intelligible, and anyone with
a rational mind should be able to understand them.

I am really happy that finally Red Fetish will be out on Anna,

Why are you happy about that?  You know that that is occuring through unrespectable behaviour from Anna-logue records.

which is a great label (i just checked and i own 18 releases of its catalogue and they are all great!)

Factory Records is a great record label.  Les Disques du Crepescule is a great record label.

I would not say Anna-logue is a great record label by any stretch of the imagination considering
the circumstances of this thread.

However, if you think they are so great then why don’t you own all their releases.  What are those
other releases (almost half the catalogue) that you don’t own not great?

and i hope and strongly encourage other REAL labels to do what Anna did,

Ha Ha, my record label is not real.  It is imaginary.  To obscure for you, and your REAL records that are mass produced and sold cheaply through a fear scam.

because the music of ATM, RF, The Cone and Tiger Club is great (i suppose also Deadcatz but i’ve never had the chance to listen them….) and deserves to be listened by the new (and old) generations.

Are those bands great?  How did you hear about those bands?  Where did you hear them?
Oh, is DedKatz great too.  I am honored that you find so much value in my opinion, however, unless you like u.k. punk rock then I don’t
believe they will appeal to you.  But thanks again for telling all the labels in the world to be pricks to one another, and try to connive
for bands from other labels in malicious ways so you can have a cheap worthless record that you think is great.

BADMOUTHERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE AND TAKE OVER!

That is just unintelligent.  A smith’s song contorted to support actions that are ugly.

Anything, as long as you can buy cheap worthless records right.

And while we have been discussing the Red Fetish 7” and album, another week of auctions have ended for ObscurE Identities. Seven releases, one copy of each was offered for sale, and as usual, none sold.

Is that usual?  I guess you missed these auctions.

And did nothing sell bjakk?  How do you know?  Anyway, I’m still glad that you are watching my completed
auctions over a year later.  That shows true interest and commitment in obscure identities, and All the Madmen and Red Fetish.

Steven, why do you keep doing this?

I am sellling records of unreleased minimal synth music.  It is what I am interested in, and I enjoy doing it.

I don’t have any plans to stop doing it.  I will always sell them this way.  Why do keep watching my auctions?

Nope, he’s too concentrated to think that he’s “the biggest and best minimal synth record label of the 21st Century”.

Google search purposes!

Peter, thanks for supporting my statement on google wink

I have nothing against you but you are really hilarious.Seriously - you are good in creating forum flammed topics, but about running a label forget about it. let’s talk again in 22st Century.

Here, now tell me that Nike is not good at running a shoe company.

http://nikemag.ebay.com/

First Anna-logue, and now Nike.  Everyone is trying to take from me.

Marc is a true gentleman, and i hope that he will continue to ignore this topic. I should learn from him.

He won’t respond, because what can he say besides I was acting like a jerk and my actions were egotistical, and selfish.

This statement by Mike pretty much says it all.

Neale has had all dealings with Marc - we sent Marc a copy of the OI contract before we signed with AnnaLogue, he was happy
that we were no longer legally contracted to OI.

Now that is pure Schadenfreude !
And you know what that means.

If he were a true gentlemen he would say “I am sorry for both my actions and my words.”
That is what a true gentlemen would do.

Just for the record , Jens Larsson (Samen on this forum) sent some ATMM files to Marc (at my behest) after I had sent a CDr to him with a compilation of ATMM / Red Fetish / Cone stuff before i knew of the existence of Obscure identities .Which is proof that Anna had heard of Red Fetish before the OI release .
I became aware of OI when “living is a nightmare” turned up on Nick Mariano’s (fastfashion on this blog)Crispy Nuggets blog .
I was well pleased with this and wrote to Nick to tell him .At the same time , Stephen contacted Nick and asked him to remove the track from the compilation as he was releasing it on a vinyl lp .Nick asked me what I thought , and i actually knew nothing of the record and told Nick that the track could stay .That was my introduction to Stephen and the world of OI , But what it does prove is that none of this music was a secret .I had given a fair bit away to people who asked , and some of this stuff was on Last fm and various other sites .
No body as done any thing underhand .
i hope that this clears a few things up .
Now buy the Anna release wink

Out of seven Obscure Identities releases, none sold this week, last week or the week before. If you want to sell records, there may be better ways to operate a record label in today’s harsh market, but in this case, that’s an iffy if!
