Of course it’s a bootleg : a compilation of all tracks of the 12inch, 7inch and all tracks on some compilations…
The only “good” thing about it is that he doesn’t ask 120 euro for it as some others do.

That may be one of the most obvious bootlegs I’ve ever.

Oh dear Chevalier, of course he hasn’t forgotten the tape… You just have to wait for volume two to get it for another 45 euros.

but don’t worry though, this is a prime collectable not available anywhere else and it’s bound to rise in value.  :D

Why these pirates can ask 45 euros for a bootleg and why official releases have normal prices? (question of the day)

Well, even with a new release you can ask for anything you like and obviously some people do (thanks a million for reviving that lovely thread Neal   8)  )

I’d say as bootlegs are illegal and there is a higher risk, people want to make more money on them because of that risk. Also you are limited when it comes to distribution channels, so you can only sell smaller quantities.

On the buyers end, bootlegs might be perceived as even more rare than the legal stuff, so some collector are prepared to pay more.

It’s really a shame A Blaze Colour can’t be convinced of a legal re-release…

The risk of illegal reproducing is very high ...

Well, is it really high in absolute terms?

Personally, I am not aware of anybody having been dragged to court for unofficial minimal synth releases….and in some cases search missions for the artists would have to carried out on top in order to at least have some victims…

This can only happen when the artists make an official complaint through the artist society and you can believe me, the claims are very high.

So in a nutshell we’re talking a low risk of a high fine
