Firstly hello and secondly sorry my first post is a request for help.
Some of you might know me from other forums I post as Parkz on several message boards.
I bought an album years ago its from 79/80 and was by an experimental/improvisational band from the UK, they released one very rare album, only 500 were pressed.
Out of complete coincidence one of the guys who made the album now works in Plymouth (about five minutes from where I live) and he seems like a cool dude, still into music all these years latter.
Anyway I mentioned to him I’m very fond of two tracks from his LP and might like to put them out as a very LTD vinyl press. Maybe 250 at the very most, a nice pressing etc. He was well cool with this idea and I have the blessing of all the original band members to look into the possibility of doing a small pressing if I wish.
But I’m not really sure if there is a market for these tracks, could you have a listen please and see what you think of them, Im just trying to gauge opinion. I’m not sure if they fall into the Minimal Synth category but I feel there is some relevance so I’ve plucked up the courage to sign up over here and ask your opinions on the tracks.
I really have no friends into this this kind of music to ask opinions on, so I really need some feedback from various forum communities.
I have never released a record before but hope to achieve my dream of running a little vinyl only label. Purely a labour of love, and if I made a minimal lose on each record I could live with that, but I cant afford to put out a record no one will be interested in (even though I love it).
Any help and feedback would be most appreciated
