KOMMUNITY FK - the vision and the voice
Their 1983 debut album. A true “death rock” classic! The music found on this one is a magnificent combination of dark post-punk, gothic stylings (without the usual cheesiness) and weird industrial noises. Even some synths.
Influences of Christian Death and Joy Division are all over the place. I think it’s a splendid and varied album, with not a single bad track on it.
The most recent CD-reissue adds four livetracks, proving that this band even had the talent to duplicate the intense atmosphere of their music in a live setting.
