4 days to go. :D

I’m taking the opportunity to clean out my collection and put everything on Discogs.  What’s not been sold in the mean time will be for sale at the festival.

Made it back just in time before the snow made travel all but impossible. Hope the germans got back OK.

BIM was great,, again. Saw some nice performances ( and some very bad and out of place in the audience), talked with interesting people ( pussyfooting with grinders, really?) , saw bands on stage , some great(ClickClick, CCIS and Aroma Di Amore), some bad ( AMGOD and Lætherstrip) and scored some great records. Until next year. grin

I couldn’t be there but I’ve heard that Click Click was fantastic indeed!

no sorry, I only came in late for Click Click (which I liked most part), Aroma is not my thing and Leatherstrip was great fun but I do not feel like writing about it…

Ohh, Click Click was awesome! It was really heavy, mostly just drums and his remarkable voice, full of anxiety and desperation. I remember them playing all the good oldies like, sweet stuff, party hate, I rage I melt and whatnot. Also they played a drum’n'bassy one from shadowblack i believe.

Also I found C cat trance to be a nice surprise, I really liked the setup with alternative instrumentation and some more complex rhythms and melodies.

These two bands saved my night as I found CCIS to be a real disappointment. I mean, for some modern lofi-techno-electro thing it would probably have been great (although modern bands do that better) but it wasn’t at all what I expected. From my point of view it had lost what made crash course in science special, like that indie/toy synthesizer thing, this totally naive approach that makes a song like cardboard lamb soooo great.
