Well, with this time of the year nearing again, now if you could have a quick word with good old Santa, which band would you go for?

I know it’s dead difficult to name but a single one, but as already mentioned in the other thread, the complete work of

A Blaze Colour

(including demos etc., should they exist) most definitely would do the trick for me.

I am assuming that most people round here are familiar with their work, but should somebody suggest some 50 copies made tape artist from the more savage and inaccessible parts of Venezuela, I guess some info might come in handy as well…

grrrreat topic, falck! here we gowowow

#1 Dokument
as a well-known re-releaser told me it’s impossible to officially release the great Dokument tape since the guy who made it is now a tibetan monk and “He has zero to less than zero interest in things from his past.” such a shame…

#2 in my list is Interaccion

IIRC there’s just over 80 minutes of A Blaze Colour so maybe a double LP then?

off the top of my head, here are a few suggestions…

In discography books from the 80s, Transparent Illusion were listed with something like 5 entries or so. It’d be great to have a full, official box set with everything and then some, if the rest of the material was ever demo’d…

League of Nations - another already bootlegged band who would be good to see officially reissued

Snowy Red, if there’s any material from around the two first LPs that is previously unissued, also it’d be good to hear this material remastered as the original vinyls were not high-end to say the least…

There are still more Experimental Products demo material that Id like to see released…

Maybe Ami Marie? One of the most beautiful LPs from Germany IMO, and some single versions/ non-LP tracks too…

Stress, the UK band, made some fantastic music on cassettes (not far from the best stuff from Portion ctrl), I’d certainly buy that on vinyl or CD.

Add cassette material by DZ Lectric, Tara Cross, maybe even Le LuLus? And I’d certainly be buying the best presents for myself this year grin

dear bootleggers why don’t you help us with ABC and Dokument then? if the guys don’t give a shit about what they did when they were young they would hardly ever bother about bootlegging their stuff as well, wouldn’t they? wink

upd: +1 for John Bender but I guess it could be the same situation…

First of all i´m so happy about the “Das Ding” Re-release on Vinyl.
Such great stuff from him.

My wish ” Les Yeux Interdits ” wich was also released on
Tear apart Tapes.

To have A Blaze Colour rereleased would be great.
I agree to just bootleg that stuff, if he is not even interested in talking ´bout that stuff.

Her’s a few suggestions:

ABC for sure, but rather convince the band then bootlegging.

Portion Control (soon to be realized)

Hidden Agenda (also in the pipeline, if I’m correctly informed)

If somebody is able to provide a contact to David Sinfield from League of Nations, I would be over the moon to release it offcially via Anna Logue Records.

Also, if somebody can provide a contact to Ludo Camberlin or Bart Azijn, I might also try my luck.
