Death Domain “Choreutoscope” CS
Jerkwave 015

Jerkwave Tapes brings you a cassette offering from Death Domain (Adam Stroupe of SIDS.) Taking Cold Wave and Minimal Synth aesthetics and helming a fucking RIDICULOUS collection of analog synthesizers, Death Domain floats to the top in an ever expanding ocean of one man bedroom synth/drum machine projects. With extensive knowledge of the old as well as the new DD gives a nod to Absolute Body Control with his cover of “Waving Hands.” And others such as “A Sweater for the Cold War” and “Is It In My Blood?” drip with dark synth tones and pulsing rhythms. The final song “Untitled” also features Dead Luke on keys/guitar. Edition of 75 on pro duped cassettes.

These will ship in 2 to 3 weeks

I actually received the split-tape(s), I ordered them for the shop. But at receiving them I just gave them away, because it was so embarrassingly badly done. These weren’t sellable. Also I haven’t got a clue which side’s DD or High Marks, because there’s no tracklisting :(

Yeah, I haven’t listened to the tape, but I heard most were just dubbed over other tapes and you can still hear the background.  I can send you the tracks if you want mp3s.  I might just make 50 of them the “right way” since the first time around was so shoddy.  Apparently the guy that runs the label is MIA too, hrmph.

However though, this jerkwave tape is professionally made, so no issues there.

Which tape? The split?  I still plan on making about 50 more of these to give to people that got shitty copies from the label.

Also Wool-E, got your PM, will send you tracks today.

Ah, that will be coming from Jerkwave, not me, but he did them professionally and isn’t a flake.

Maybe I said “isn’t a flake” too soon.  I’ve been hearing that he’s not getting back to people, I have no clue where the tape is.  :( So I’m 0 for 2 with people releasing my stuff.  DOH!

Howcome they ever allowed you to stay on this forum ?
You’re only generating noise to keep your topic on top.

You’re bumping, I’m not.

“To bump a thread on an Internet forum is to post a reply to it purely in order to raise the thread’s profile. This will typically return it to the top of the list of active threads.
Thread bumping is commonly considered a breach of netiquette and some moderated forums forbid it.”

However in this forum it is allowed to “bump” I guess.

Look brah, I added pertinent information about my release.  I have received PMs on this board asking where is the tape.  It’s called an update, I didn’t just “generate noise” with that post.  Think and read before you type next time and maybe you won’t get banned again.  What’s your hang up with this forum anyway?  It’s letting you go, why can’t you do the same?
