The site is pretty slow as of late no?
Avatars not loading and pages dragging like there’s no tomorrow.
Is it just me?

the old site was much better,
on the old one you had:

a compiled list of artist from the genre itself,
star ratings on albums,
easier to read, cleaner looking

i miss the old site

I think the new site is OK. People just have to get used to the new format.
What is removed like the sections on vinyl covers and video’s is something I don’t really miss. There are other (better) sites for that now like Discogs and YouTube. It’s good not to stick to something that can be better centralized on other more “public” sites.
What I DO miss are things like the interviews on Autumn and Nick Nicely that disappeared and that are found nowhere else. I know it is a lot of work t change the site format but perhaps this needs attention.

So we’ve had the “new” site for quite a while now and it seems that traffic is at a near dead stop.  Is it down to the “new” format, or has the trend died and people have moved on to the next fad?

I think it is the same as with the music.
Minimal Wave as a site and as a label has become professional instead of amateur.
Then it lost it’s charm. I think that is what happened.
I saw it happen before. Most succesfull concepts don’t last longer then a few years.
It’s normal.
