Minimal Wave Records

The All the Madmen blue copies are now sold out.

To celebrate last week I listed the 1st copy of the All the Madmen LP with a black inner jacket at a bargain price. I also listed a copy of the Aspect Ratio cassette at a bargain price.  They both sold to some lucky winners.

This weeks auctions end on sunday and the starting auction prices will be as follows from now on.

  -The first 20 copies of any record release will start at $39.99

  -Then after that the next 60 copies of any record release will start at $37.99

  -The first 20 copies of any tape release will start at $29.99

  -Then after that the next 60 copies of any tape release will start at $17.99

I am not making any money with the obscure identities label.  The goal is more to put out unknown minimal synth bands simply for the collectors, and the band members to enjoy. I have many releases coming so there will be much for you to enjoy this year and beyond. The more you buy the faster these records will be released, and I’m sure you can already guess from what I have released so far that you are going to want to hear what I’ve got coming.

I am pleased that the other obscure identities thread has now been closed. The positive side to that thread was that it allowed me to explain to everyone my record label.  The negative side was that it included a lot of haters hating on someone they do not even know for ultimately selfish reasons. In regards to this thread I am not trying to restart that thread.  So if you are one of those haters, and you want to start hating again please don’t.

I strongly hope not. Actually i hope that the good stuff will be put out on any other label because i won’t ever buy a new record at 40$. I strongly hope that artists will be aware of the prices of the LPs or tapes and won’t ever publish with you.

Seriously i’d really like to know if the guys involved in your reissues are aware of the fact that their label boss is such an arrogant nerd. And most important, i’d be happy to hear from them if they are aware of the current prices of the reissues or the vinyl issues around, i mean the real ones. Maybe you found out bands/people who are not into music since 30 years or so and they agreed to reissue with you but they couldn’t care less ... Let them read this forum and let’s see what they have to say about it.

They all read this forum, and they think “Movement: Minimaal” does not know how to spell minimal, and that “movement: minimaals” movement is not minimal at all, but is “sell me records for cheap, because with the low paying job I have I can’t afford what I want to buy”. Anyway, they are sincerely looking forward to the day when “movement: minimaal” whoever that is will uncover an unknown minimal synth band and make that music available to others, because that would be a minimal movement, not scolding someone who is doing exactly that.
