NACHTMUSIK presents:

::: THE PRESENT MOMENT (LA/Disaro) :::

...Milton Scott is the man behind The Present Moment, an LA electronic gothic musical project with a release on witch house label Disaro and soon a release on French dark electronic label Desire Records.

::: SOFT METALS (Portland/Captured Tracks) :::

Soft Metals is the electronic romance of Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall of Portland, Oregon played on vintage synthesizers and drum machines. Inspiration came to them by way of experimental noise and avant garde, early industrial music, minimal synth, 1980s Chicago house, synth pop, and italo disco. Building their songs from moody, experimental, and improvised sessions together, they never know what influence will have the upper hand. It’s simplest to say Soft Metals make dark, romantic, electronic dance music.

::: JEWELS OF THE NILE (Portland) :::

Jewels of the Nile is the dark airy down tempo electrodance project by the ladies of Magick Daggers. Aquarians born in the year of the Tiger, the two came together to perform a Solstice rite conjuring the Marquesa Casati, which lit the fire for the music frenzy that followed. Jessy Montaigne, of the deceased-but-not-forgotten all femme SF group Subtonix //singer, songwriter, bass player…. and Meghan Christine, a producer, designer and DJ. Both DJs and Daggers band mates, the two like to make avantnoise gilded with heavy beats and stylized melody.

GUEST DJ:

::: RUDE 66 (Bunker/CBS/IFM) :::

For the past 15 years, Rude has perfected a sound that employs everything from early 80’s alternative club music to his own dark acid past, from oldskool electro to Italian soundtracks. Rude’s choice of workhorses (mostly vintage analogue synths and drum machines) and recording methods (still using a big mixing desk and analogue reel-to-reel recording) have resulted in an instantly recognizable signature sound: hard, dense but full of detail and groove and still carrying trace elements of the classic sound of The Hague.

DJs:
Omar (Sixxteen/Shutter)
Justin (Shutter)
Josh (Dark Entries)
