just about to make note of the first borghesia record, a true dark classic. sizike is definitely a fantastic release.  ‘don’t stop’ is almost always playing on loop in my head.

otherwise, another great yugoslavian wave act not mentioned yet is bastion.  i was given a rip of the LP, and posted it up on systemsofromance.com for any interested parties!  definitely a little spastic, and reminds me a bit of sizike and separately, pas de deux.

yes, bastion is great. track ‘boje’ sounds like mekanik kommando to my ears 8O

some mainstream yugoslav synthpop classics which are also very good are
bebi dol - rudi 12” [the short version on b side, not the extended. the rest of her opus is quite boring]
and
u škripcu - track ‘siđi do reke’ from ‘o-je’ album. romantic minimal synthpop, produced by the same guys who did beograd [habić + bubalo bros]

ah, and one more
dorian gray!
first LP ‘sjaj u tami’ is great new romantic record, while the second one ‘za tvoje oči’ is softer / colder wave / pop. their later releases are bollocks.
