Jullan was a Japanese techno-pop duo formed mainly by the students of Hitotsubashi University.The members are Hiroshi and Atsushi. Ryuichi Sakamoto showed them first in a radio programme. After it they became popular in Japan and one of their song ,“Because Of Love” was used for Kose Cosmetics’ Fall ‘84 campaign. They sent a demo tape to the British “Melody Maker” who extolled them and they even signed a contract in the UK to make their debut record . Their sound is melodious electro pop.They disbanded after 1985.
