Craig Sibley

Craig Sibley has over 30 years of experience in the Music and Arts community.

As a native “Angeleno” (born in Hollywood, Ca), Craig has been involved and influenced tremendously by the motion picture industry. This influence is evident in many of his works. Craig is involved in a number of arts disciplines including sculpture, painting, animation, music composition, literature as well as furniture, product and architectural design. His artistic training is varied and includes Goldenwest College, Fullerton College, The Arts Institute and private studies with well known Master Artists Marshall Vandruff and Lance Richlin. Craig was also awarded “Artist of the Year” on the Ovation TV channel and was honored with a spotlight on his art as part of their regular programming. As a student of architectural history, his knowledge in 20th Century Architecture has led him to involvement as panel speaker with the Neutra Institute (an organization dedicated in preserving the architecture of Richard and Dion Neutra). His speaking engagements have also included numerous trade-shows as well as guest speaker at UCI, UCLA and USC. Craig is the former Director of Exhibitions at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (OCCCA) where he has been actively involved in co-curating a variety of art exhibitions. In 2014, he had two solo exhibitions (titled Ein Gesamtkunstwerk) at OCCCA, and the Yuma Museum of fine arts.

Past endeavors have included sound design and consulting, while working with major recording artists/groups including Seal, Stevie Wonder, Yes, and Devo.  His television credits include the critically acclaimed Michael Mann production “Crime Story”.  In addition, Craig was composer for two successful Center Theatre Group productions (CTG, also known as the Los Angeles Music Center), the first of which, “Stand Up Tragedy” later went on to Broadway (at the Criterion Theatre).  For the second CTG production, Sir Alan Ayckbourn’s “Henceforward”, Craig received a Drama-Logue award for best Theatrical Music.  His Film credits include Scoring Assistant for “Like Mike”, I Spy and Step into Liquid, and Composer for Menagerie, Dual and Best Friends (which won a short film award on the nationally syndicated show, “Good Morning America”). In addition, Craig has produced a variety of CGI “Art” music video animations” based on his musical compositions.
